Boniface (Barney) Guagliardo

Vice President – Construction

Mr. Guagliardo has been Vice President, Director of Construction for Central since 2001. In his role Mr. Guagliardo oversees and monitors all of Central’s production staff and subcontractors. He is in charge of scheduling operations and the coordination of construction in the field.

With his extensive construction experience, Mr. Guagliardo possesses the expertise required to produce quality projects within schedule and budgetary constraints. His dedication to completing projects on-time and on-budget while maintaining a high level of quality and integrity has made him a major asset to the Central team of professionals. In addition to his extensive experience in healthcare, he has a long and successful history in renovations, alterations and new construction.

Frank Montesano

Sr. Project Manager

MFrank Montesano has over 32 years of experience in Construction Management/General Contracting. His responsibilities include all aspects of the construction process such as the assembly and coordination of the construction teams and the skills to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. Mr. Montesano is extremely detail-oriented and is a team player. His keen ability to implement multiple projects simultaneously has proven him to be an asset to the successful completion of the projects he has led.

Mr. Montesano has vast experience in coordinating and executing projects related to code compliance, life safety and capital improvements. He is a former member of IBEW and the Operating Engineers Union with extensive knowledge of the mechanical trades.

Mr. Montesano is currently the Project Manager overseeing numerous projects at Englewood Hospital & Medical Center.

Larry Allocca

Senior Project Manager

Since joining Central in 2005, Mr. Allocca has proven his skills as a Project Manager leading teams on successful healthcare assignments.  He recently completed a $37 million project at Englewood Hospital which was completed on time and $3 million under budget.

As a Project Manager for Central, Mr. Allocca has completed projects of varied scope and size.  His experience includes both new construction and renovations.  He has been directly responsible for the coordination between the office, field, client and consultants. He has maintained a firm knowledge of the overall scope on each project and settled all matters concerning scope changes caused by either field conditions or design changes. Mr. Allocca has been involved in various facets of construction management in the New York area commercial market for more than 20 years.

Prior to joining Central, Mr. Allocca was a Project Officer for the New York City School Construction Authority where he managed six public school projects valued at approximately $16 million.

Nunziato Miuccio, RA

Project Executive

Mr. Miuccio joined Central in 2005 as Project Executive. He is a highly qualified, licensed, Registered Architect in the State of New York with thirty years experience designing and managing a variety of commercial and healthcare projects. In his role with Central, Mr. Miuccio has proven his leadership capabilities and ability to realize our client’s goals. His background in architecture and construction gives him a unique perspective on the projects he oversees.

Prior to joining Central, Mr. Miuccio served as a Sr. Project Manager at a+i design and Swanke Hayden Connell Architects managing several large-scale healthcare and commercial projects in and around New York City.

Richard Simone

CEO & President

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Central, Richard Simone is responsible for overseeing all phases of Project Management and Construction services since the company’s inception in 1986. His goal was to create a company that provided personalized, high quality construction services that each member of the team could be proud of.

From inception to close-out, Mr. Simone is involved with every aspect of Central’s projects. Mr. Simone monitors the progress of all assignments and is personally responsible for their success. He maintains close contact with all the team members ensuring a collaborative effort throughout the process. In his more than twenty five years in the industry he has experience with every conceivable construction, scheduling, and budgetary issue that may arise, especially in the area of healthcare. His expertise includes extensive renovation and alterations, as well as out-of-the-ground new construction.

Thomas M. Tiscia

Controller

Mr. Tiscia has over twenty five years of experience that includes 10 years as a controller in the real estate/construction industry. He possesses expertise in costs accounting, financial analysis, budgeting and financial reporting. Mr. Tiscia is a leader with an objective management style who is effective at creating a team environment with a strong track record for implementing initiatives that reduced overhead while improving financial operations.

Mr. Tiscia assists the team by initiating Central’s cost control documents. In this capacity, he insures that the entire cost control process is handled with extreme diligence to maximize value for our clients.

Prior to joining Central Consulting & Contracting, Mr. Tiscia acted as Controller for large General Contracting and development firms in the New York City area. These firms worked closely with numerous City and State agencies providing Mr. Tiscia a unique understanding of the financial reporting necessary to do work in the City and State.
