Providence Community Health Centers’ (PCHC) goal is to ensure that everyone in Providence has access to quality medical and dental care. PCHC already operated five community health centers in the city and decided to expand the network to meet the needs of residents who lacked adequate access to medical care.

Central worked with its affiliated development arm, Central Healthcare Initiatives (CHI), to deliver a turn-key project from the initial concept to development through construction.

The new health service and retail complex was built on four acres of land and includes a 40,000 sf community health center, 50,000 sf medical office building, and a 5,000 sf retail pharmacy.

This project was the first community health center in the nation to earn LEED Silver certification.
